Washington D.C. offers a wide variety of ground transportation options once you have landed. See the transportation webpage on the ICA 2014 website for details. Additional information about traveling to Washington, D.C. is available throughout the Travel and Hotel section of the website.
Please visit the ICA 2014 registration desk when you arrive to pick up your name badge and other Congress materials. The registration desk is located in Convention Registration 1 and 2 on the lobby level of the hotel. It will be open at the following times:

Monday, 31 March, 7:30—17:00
Tuesday, 1 April, 7:30—13:00
Wednesday, 2 April, 7:00—17:30
Thursday, 3 April, 7:30—13:00
Friday, 4 April, 7:00—12:30

Papers and Presentations
Papers and presentations for parallel sessions and poster presentations are available in the Detailed Session Schedule. Participants are invited to find the papers and presentations that interest them, and print personal copies if necessary. Printed copies will not be provided at ICA 2014.
If you have not already done so, register today for the included and optional tours and activities so that you take advantage of everything that ICA 2014 has to offer. The Congress week includes open afternoons on Tuesday and Thursday to allow attendees to socialize while exploring cultural and historical sites around Washington, D.C. For registered delegates and registered accompanying persons, most of the Tuesday and Thursday afternoon activities are provided at no extra charge. The list of delegates attending ICA 2014 is available on the ICA 2014 website and within the ICA 2014 mobile app. The attendee listing in the meeting app allows you to sort the list on multiple criteria, including last name, company name, country, and registration type. The filter allows you to display only registrants based on their country or registration category.
The dress code in Washington, D.C. is mainly casual and smart casual, except in some restaurants and clubs that require more formal attire. At ICA 2014, business casual attire is suggested for the meeting sessions and the Sunday evening Welcome Reception. It is best to wear layered clothing as meeting rooms tend to fluctuate in temperature. Please dress in business attire for the Thursday evening Gala Dinner. Casual attire is appropriate for the various ICA 2014 tours, with a respectful degree of cover requested for any visits to churches, memorials, cemeteries, and other similar formal public spaces. Please be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes for all of the tours.
